This place is fully stocked and has everything you could need for cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the living room or back patio. “Everyone appreciated the tranquility of the forest and most comfortable beds and blankets. The cabin was well decorated and very clean. Chance responded immediately whenever I reached out with questions. I think that the listing could have mentioned that the main bedrooms are all upstairs and that a high clearance vehicle is needed. We all had a great time and enjoyed nearby hiking trails and exploring Prescott antique stores and restaurants!”

“This home was wonderful. My grandsons (2,4, 6) loved watching the deer and turkeys come visit in the morning. The outdoor games were great to keep them occupied. The hot tub was maintained well. Some thing everyone talks about…the road. It’s maintained by the Forest Service, they don’t have money, so this isn’t going to change. It’s wash boarded. It’s bumpy. BUT Auntie Katie was able to get her Buick up there. It’s possible. You just have to go slow. My daughter laughed and said it’s bad……

“The General Store is a great place to enjoy the cool pines. If you are a hiker the location is excellent for getting out and enjoying the trails. It is 1.5 miles to Goldwater Lake and there are plenty of options for hikes from the front door. The yard is perfect for the dogs and the back porch is a great place to relax. The house is comfortable and has plenty of room to enjoy it with family and friends. The only downsides are that it is on a corner that can be busy at times. And I do wish……

“Five of my close friends and I stayed here for 8 nights for our annual "get away from the everyday" trip. The cabin had plenty of room and the location worked out perfectly for a mix of seclusion/relaxation and some Northern Arizona day trips.Drive from the PHX airport & check-in was easy, and the road was no issue during our daytime arrival in good weather. The steep last couple hundred feet of road might be tough in heavy rain. The cabin road is very tame by comparison to the forest road to……
