“When my wife and I left on Sunday morning after a 2-night stay, it was like saying goodbye to family. Chris, Amanda and Luis are just the nicest folks! If your schedule permits a weekend stay, please do so because the 9:00 a.m. breakfast is second to none. Parts of the road in might be a bit challenging for some, but hey, it's in a river gorge so what do you expect? “Host was great during check-in. He showed me around the property. Driveway was a little rough. Definitely not made for sedans or lowered cars but my small suv did fine. Did not show on vrbo but very perfect water view. Main house does have other lists and the property services all listing. The property give off summer camp vibes. The yurt is nice the ac is a god sent. It was high 90s the whole time i was there. The beds are air mattresses but again still nice. Plenty of places to grill or cook……

“It was a little chilly but Dirk gave us extra blankets and provided plenty of fire wood. He recommended the best local breakfast joint and gave us hiking trail suggestions. Dirk was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back in the summer”
