We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.”

The kitchen and sitting area is wonderful since it is all windows and you are looking out over the river and the meadows. We wish we had booked more time. “This was the best place we stayed in Ireland. Equipped to a high standard. It is a great base for exploring the Connemara region and avoiding the hustle and bustle of Galway City. Clifden has all the amenities needed and lots of restaurants. The owner has Guys Bar which is one of the most pleasant pubs we have visited with outstanding food. We ate there three times. ”
