“Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.”

“The view from the couch is awesome. Paddy Keane the owner was a nice gentleman and I enjoyed conversing with him. Cottage is comfy but if you are looking for local action, it may be too isolated for you. We loved it& didn’t mind the drive to Clifden, about 20 km. Carna was closer but much smaller but had a pub & pizza.”

“This was the best place we stayed in Ireland. Equipped to a high standard. It is a great base for exploring the Connemara region and avoiding the hustle and bustle of Galway City. Clifden has all the amenities needed and lots of restaurants. The owner has Guys Bar which is one of the most pleasant pubs we have visited with outstanding food. We ate there three times. ”
