“The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. There are electric blankets in the bed to help with the dampness. Not really sure if the water is drinkable. Martin the owner said it is but we……

“Ein wunderschönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet in sehr ruhiger Lage. Nach einen langen Tag lädt die Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Teich zum Entspannen ein, am Abend kann man den Sternenhimmel beobachten sofern es das Wetter es zulässt. Die Stadt Clifden ist ca. 5 Km entfernt dort kann man sich mit allen notwendigen wie z.B. Lebensmitteln versorgen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.”

“The property is in a beautiful location with magnificent views. It did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The living room was cosy. Some things you might expect were not in the property such as some basic kitchen equipment and a hairdryer - so we had to purchase these. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. ”

“Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub……
