“The resort is very nice. Our cabin’s upstairs bedrooms were a little warm at night ( it was in the mid 90s on two days we were there); may require separate units for upstairs and downstairs. The kids loved the pools and fishing off the dock. We had an incident with teenagers who weren’t supposed to be at the pool. But management handled that. The restaurant/bar food was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. ”

“Enjoyed the stay over all. Well furnished and well stocked with cooking items. The boat house at end of quiet cove was great for watching wildlife - deer, bald eagles, white pelicans, Canadian geese and of course jumping bass 😁. The only issue we had with the property was lack of task lighting (bedside lamps) and the lack of back deck to enjoy a morning of watching wildlife while drinking our morning coffee. ”

“This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. Although the inside is warm and inviting, most of our time was spent outside enjoying the quiet tranquility of the nature that surrounds it. The cabin is……

“This cabin had everything we needed for the stay. Including dishware, cooking utensils, appliances, propane grill, soap, toiletries, toilet paper, towels, trash bags, plastic bags, etc. very well stocked. There were even complimentary adult beverages. Our FAVORITE part of the cabin would have to be the deck. It was HUGE (and covered!) we were on it all day and into the night. The views cannot be described.!The deck has a table that we had breakfast at with our girls and then lounged in the……

“Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. It was enjoyable to have a fire in the pit and there was plenty of wood around to use, with several fallen trees close by. The a-frame itself was cozy and peaceful. It got cold,……

“The propery was very nice. The rooms were great and we loved that there were fans and AC units in all the rooms. The area was decently quiet. We spent most of our time on the screened porch for meals and just hanging out. Love that it was pet friendly and that we could bring our dogs”

“Our stay at the white cabin was exactly what we needed. We wanted a place to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our oldest son. Our party included 4 adults, a 15 year old, 2 year old and 2 month old. Between the king bedroom, twin bed in the loft over the bathroom, twin plus queen beds in the main loft plus the pullout couch, we had plenty of room. Towels and linens were provided. Basic kitchen dining and glassware along with cookware were provided. *I would suggest bringing linens……

“Absolutely adorable cabins,clean,efficient, friendly owner. The only complaint is the mattresses . 1 was a air mattress, 1 was some sort of thick padding ,and the main bedroom was an older spring mattress that was very hard to sleep on. We loved our stay otherwise. But probably wouldn't come back unless the mattresses were updated. The plaxe ”

“This was our second vacation here. The minute we walked in we just felt right at home. The added firepit this year was a bonus! You will find everything you need here. Just pack your bags, bring your groceries, and grab your fishing poles too! You can catch fish right off the dock! You can catch a glimpse of some wildlife too. We saw a few foxes and deer. The host Connie is outstanding! I give it an A+ ”
