Carleton is a couple of miles from the bridge to the mainland, so a convenient place to overnight prior to heading home. Not may restaurants close by, tho a breakfast cafe at the hotel for the morning. good acomodation for our purposes. ”

“We had a pleasant overnight stay in the autumn off-season. Our room and the Inn were very quiet, especially with few other guests. It is an old building with some oddities of slightly sloping/uneven floors. However, this just gave it more character and it seems to fit very well with the Green Gables history of the Cavendish area.
