“Perfect place for a family stay near the Colby College campus. Our only regret is that we didn’t find it for our stays earlier in the college experience! ”

“The house & deck were very nice with beautiful view of the lake. It could use some typical amenities like tissues, hair dryer, etc. The main problem is getting to the house. It’s a 3/4 mile drive down a narrow stone road riddled with potholes and bumps. I was afraid I was going to do damage to the rental car and that’s driving at or lower than the 15mph speed limit! ”

“This property is a cute two story, four bedroom home nestled in a quiet Sidney neighborhood. It was perfect for a family gathering of 10. The backyard is large, green, and beautiful. The convenience of cooking and congregating in one location beats booking multiple hotel rooms any day. Our host was friendly and a good communicator. We would and probably will stay again!”

“This was our third year in a row spending most of August at the wonderful Loons nest! Brent and Sarah are great and responsive hosts. The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year!”

“We had a great family vacation with our family on the lake. House was modern while still having the "Maine Feel". We did need to reach out to Jason for the minisplit having an issue - he resolved it promptly the next AM. House does list that it has a dishwasher and Bedit but it does not. Lake location was amazing for our kiddos. The boats and paddles were provided close by and plenty for us to use with the kiddos. Quiet lake - very few people out on it. Love this area :) My only other compliant……

“Property was exactly as listed - view of the lake from the deck and living rooms was beautiful. Host was very available and responsive. We had a wonderful time - there were 3 generations of our family with up to 14 members staying at the home. We also hosted a larger family get-together with an additional 10 people for an afternoon with permission from the host. Everyone was impressed with the house, property, lake views, deck and dock. Four of our young adult cousins stayed in the log cabin……

“Property served our needs for being close to family and had enough space. Had some issues with front door lock that we were able to mostly resolve ourselves and the host responded right away with suggestions when we contacted her. Stairs were a little steep for older individuals and young children. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

From all the little details in the house and the host always made sure we had everything we needed and that he was just a text away if we needed anything at all. We had use of the kayaks and I would definitely suggest that because the scenery is just beautiful. Feras and his family are great hosts and I highly recommend them. ”
