“I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. I most appreciated the AC/fan at night, the nearby walking trail and the fenced off leash dog park. I was thankful to have the cottage with the shaded deck as the Mallard cottage deck was fully in the sun the entire day. I also wish the VRBO description had indicated to bring my own sheets and towels. It might be important……

“Gary's cottage is beautiful and rustic with loads of charm! The lake is quiet and perfect for paddling - lots of wildlife to see. Gary is super nice and helpful and very accommodating and accessible. We had a great time at the gem of a property and plan on returning!”

“We had a great stay! Super relaxing. Lived on the deck overlooking the water all week. Beautiful property and comfy beds and nice bedding. ”

“The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. ”

“Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.”
