“My two adult daughters and I recently spent a "Girls Only" getaway at this beautiful riverfront property, and it was perfect for our trip! From the moment we arrived, the house was exactly as described. Each of us had our own clean and cozy room, making it feel like we had plenty of space to relax and unwind.The directions provided were spot on, and the drive to the house was easy to navigate despite the dirt and gravel road. My daughter's van handled it just fine, so there were no issues there.……

“The place was fully stocked with spices and firewood. Location was great for hiking and the pasture behind the house was scenic. Definitely recommended this place to amy group 2-4 people.”

“We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! ”

“What a great cabin to come back to each afternoon after fun-filled days at Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins, Shepherd Mountain and Taum Sauk - all within a 35 minute drive. Clean, comfortable, and unexpectedly spacious for our family of four and four-legged friends. But if you don't find it big enough, just step outside to some wonderfully big views on the deck or at the fire pit. We've stayed in quite a few rentals, and this one was definitely at the top of the list. ”

“We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!”
