“My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! ”

“We stayed in hideaway 1 for an event in the area. It was spacious for our needs. Way roomier than w hotel room and ideal if you have children that need a separate space. The property had everything we needed (and forgot) including shampoo a hair dryer and complimentary coffee. My only recommendation would be to find a space for a full size mirror. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all.”

“Coming from Texas, we wanted to experience the changing leaves and the nature trails in the area but were pleasantly surprised when we found ourselves staying on a plot of civil war history. Our cabin was delightfully cozy, and the creek was a very nice place to sit near for our morning coffee. The views of the mountains from the front porch as the fog cleared were impeccable and we have already saved this spot in our list of places to visit again. ”

“This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t permit, the house is spacious and filled with activities such as board games, instruments if your family or friends are musically inclined, books, and television.
