“My husband, 8 year old daughter and I stayed at Casa Majestic for 4 nights. The house is clean and pictures are accurate. It is equipped with the basics only, so be sure to bring what you think you may need. You must have a 4x4 to get to the house. As others mentioned in their reviews, the hill is very steep and rugged. Most people traveling up and down the hill were on motorcycles or 4 wheelers. We ventured down the hill once a day to explore the area etc. (Montezuma Waterfalls, Manzanillo,……

“At first glance, the house is super cute. The patio and the views are stunning. I could (and did) sit on the patio for hours a day. It was clean when we checked in and the person who greeted us was great. It’s also very central to the little village (1 minute walk to restaurants and supermarket) and to Zuma tours for excursions. Downsides - the beach here is pretty littered. You can’t really tell from the gorgeous patio view, but when you leave the patio,it’s littered with driftwood and……

“Casa Makai is a beautiful property with an incredible ocean/jungle view & very comfortable furnishings. The filtered water system was a treat, allowing us to fill our water bottles and drink directly from the tap, reducing unnecessary plastic waste. It is secured behind a private gate & monitored overnight by an on-sight security guard, (which didn't seem necessary as everyone in town was exceptionally kind and trustworthy). Josefina, the property manager, went above and beyond in every way……
