“The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it……

John was a wonderful host…greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had dinner reservations in town for our first night in Puerto Viejo, and even had a bottle of champaign waiting for us knowing that the trip was an anniversary celebration for us. The house was beautiful, and the gardens were truly magical. You truly are close to nature in this house! We almost did not want to leave to visit……
