“Host was amazing. Great communications. Made sure we were comfortable and welcomed, but otherwise stayed out of the way, but was always available if needed.The area is close enough to Hepburn and Daylesford that it felt part of the community there, but out of the way enough to keep away from the hustle and bustle.Just the way we like it.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zee Zee House. Ella the host was very helpful and warmed up the house prior to our arrival on a cold wintry day. The house itself has many modern touches including an open kitchen and stylish bathroom. And in addition to it being within short walking distance to Sovereign Hill, there are also many great restaurants situated within a short drive from the accommodation.All in all, this is a fabulous place to stay and we will definitely consider staying here again……

“A very spacious clean property in a beautiful area. The accommodation was well stocked with supplies. The beds are so comfortable! The most comfortable I’ve ever had in accommodation. ”

“It looks like the host lives in the house every day, other than when she has a booking. Her personal stuff and clutter is everywhere in the house. Sofas in lounge was covered with stuff, like a dinner tray left out, clothing, bags of old stuff. Clothing A-frame was in the house. Sheets on the washing line outside. Stained rugs. Vomit patch. Personal phone numbers stuck onto kitchen wall, eg Service Australia, disputes centre, aged care help. Personal family photos all over the place including……

“Just returned from a perfect 2-night getaway at this lovely retreat. The wood fire was absolutely divine and created such a cozy atmosphere. The spaces throughout the property were beautifully designed and perfectly suited our needs.We were so comfortable with our sewcation (yes we spend the entire weekend inside sewing) that we didn't even venture out to explore - the property was self catering so we had everything we wanted for a stress free sewing weekend away.Would definitely book again and……

“A beautifully designed and appointed apartment with lovely homely touches such as a loaf of fresh bread waiting on arrival, chocolate biscuits, milk and breakfast provisions for the morning. The apartment offered quality linen and was very clean. The location was very convenient, 5 mins by car to CBD and lake. Lovely coffee shop and bookshop nearby. Would highly recommend. We are grateful for having such a lovely place to stay - it made our visit to Ballarat so enjoyable. Thankyou. ”
