“Thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, tranquil setting. From the cozy fireplace, to the hot tub and fresh baked scones upon arrival, the hosts took care and attention to details to make a really wonderful stay. They were easy to work with and super responsive. We can't wait to return!”

“Beautiful and cozy place. Very clean and has everything you would need. Only negative thing is we all agreed upon is beds could be a little more comfortable. Definitely will stay again when in the area.”

“ShangriLa lives up to its name, tucked away with a private drive separate from the adjoining neighborhood. Much of the time we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The house is immaculate and attractively decorated. (We loved the moose dice.) The deck provides idyllic views of the lake, framed by a weeping willow and a cedar. As it faces north, it was perfect for viewing the Aurora Borealis (picture below). There’s still a slight amount of light pollution in the area, so the Milky……

“Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many……

“Great place to stay, thankful for the in floor heat and electic heat upstairs, lp ran out and got a little chilly, we were nervous about a gas leak because we could hear the furnace try to ignite constantly and never did! No idea we could possibly be out of lp Not much sleep that night.”
