“ShangriLa lives up to its name, tucked away with a private drive separate from the adjoining neighborhood. Much of the time we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The house is immaculate and attractively decorated. (We loved the moose dice.) The deck provides idyllic views of the lake, framed by a weeping willow and a cedar. “Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many……

“As you get closer to the cabin the forest gets more dense.Look up at the lush canopy that surrounds you.Suddenly it’s quiet and the noise of the outside world is gone.The cabin has a short steep driveway off a quiet dirt road.It feels very private.The large fire pit(great for fire cooking)is surrounded by tall trees & moss covered ground.Bring your phone and go on a mushroom hunt around the property.The bathroom is the fanciest outhouse you will find. “This little slice of heaven was perfect for our two little families. The water was clear and great for swimming (was a little mucky right off the dock, but if u want out a bit it was firmer). The big bock was a plus for the kiddos and we didn’t have to worry about them slipping. We enjoyed our time!”

“For anyone who likes seasoned lake cabins you will love the Little Red Cabin's spacious open living area. The outdoors flows right inside through the new framed windows on all three sides cheering your stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the Living Room has plenty of choice seating. Beds are comfortable for good sleep. The long yard to the tiny beach area was perfect for hitting our golf balls and blowing bubbles. Thanks Mark Swedlund for making the cabin available to us three oldsters.……

“The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. ”
