“The property was super clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped. Everything you would need was right there. We had a small dog and the property is very close to cute walkable park. There were restaurant within walking distance also. It was very convenient and very lovely. I would highly recommend. ”

“Thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, tranquil setting. From the cozy fireplace, to the hot tub and fresh baked scones upon arrival, the hosts took care and attention to details to make a really wonderful stay. They were easy to work with and super responsive. We can't wait to return!”

“Overall this was a beautiful, spacious home with great views and many places to both gather and to get away. I do want to provide more information on accessibility. The listing shows a step free entry and wheelchair accessible. This is not true. You can get in the house without any steps but you can’t get to any living spaces including two living rooms, the kitchen and dining area, the main bedroom, and game areas without needing to go up two steps. “ShangriLa lives up to its name, tucked away with a private drive separate from the adjoining neighborhood. Much of the time we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The house is immaculate and attractively decorated. (We loved the moose dice.) The deck provides idyllic views of the lake, framed by a weeping willow and a cedar. “We loved our stay. Nice place, great location, great view, and lots of space.”

“This was a great place for our family vacation. We had 4 adults, a 3 year old & 10 month old twins. The kitchen was set up well, there was plenty of room inside and outside. Nice little beach area for little kids to "swim" and the lake was wonderful. We had pretty good luck fishing and the bay we found for swimming was great. Not a super busy lake at the time we were there, so that was a plus! Would definitely recommend this location to others!”

“This cabin is in a great location and the owner had good communication. It is definitely rustic which I knew when booking and have no problem with. Two issues that need to be addressed are that it wasn’t clean. Every room had to be swept when I got there, floor needed moping but no mop. There was old moldy food in the fridge. One of the windows had the single glass pane out of the frame. With the other window having a broken pane. The pane fell out 2 other times during the stay.This is a big……

“The hosts have provided so many extras to make your stay comfortable here. The view of the lake is wonderful. It is close to town but not too close. Communication with hosts was perfect. Truly a very good deal in the northwoods of Minnesota.”

“The condo was in a very convenient location for my group as we were out and about during the day. It had a fully furnished kitchen so we had no issues cooking. The only thing was that it advertises it sleeps 8 with 2 sofa beds. There was only 1 sectional that had an ottoman we pushed in to create a bed, we originally had 8 people and it would have been inconvenient for 2 people in our group. Overall Doyle was a great host and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again. ”
