There was a problem getting the message from VRBO as reservation was booked through Expedia but host responded quickly & resent. “The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. It was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had (which turned out to be a non-issue). The cottage was well supplied. The neighbors were very friendly and there was easy access to the river. The store at the end of the street sold basic items, which was convenient. The bar behind the store was awesome for a cold beer and meeting neighbors. It was a great neighborhood to walk my dogs.”

“Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.”

“We loved everything about this house! The suites are great, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for our family vacation. We also loved the location, we took day trips to Galena and Dyersville. “Our 12 year old grandson ran upstairs and claimed "his baseball bedroom" within a minute of arriving! He told all his teammates about the house and "his room" .. they were quite envious when they heard about it! We are so glad we were able to join his family for this fun time and found your home to stay in. Michelle had the whole house stocked with everything we needed!
