“We spent the week celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from high school and enjoyed the property very much. Walking the path through the dunes to the beach was a no-go due to mosquitoes from early flooding but at no one's fault. We were within a short drive to the beach (thanks for posting about getting our vehicle beach permit). Great view and amenities--we ate in the screened-in porch every day! Highly recommend and would stay there again!”

“Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. The dock light was nice, but did attract alot of bigs when on. FYI- the……

“My husband & I needed some peace & quiet. A place to reconnect & recharge ourselves. The wind off the bay melted away the stress. The sound of the waves calmed our soul. The comfortable chairs turned the clock back. Everything was as described. Nice, clean & comfortable. The bed was cozy. Plenty of towels. Well the kitchen could use a few more towels & pot holders. But well stocked with paper towels, spices, sugar, coffee, etc. The owner was pleasant & friendly. Will definitely come back. Thank……

“We enjoyed our weekend stay! It was the perfect home away from home while my husband was in a fishing tourney. The condo is directly next to the community pool which is nice. There is no poolside shade. The condo is a little outdated, but it did not take away from the overall feel and comfort of the house. During our stay, we did have an issue with raccoons living in the void between the two floors. They were very loud and woke us up multiple times. We let the owner know and she said she would……

“We had a great family vacation. We had plenty of room with 7 adults and 2 kids. The pool for the condos is great for adults and kids. They also have a pond on site that has some huge fish in it. You can easily walk to the beach or make a very short drive to get to the beach. My family had a wonderful time and look forward to going back some time.”
