“Checking in was super easy, informative emails were sent prior to arrival. The location was great but not ski in ski out. There was a decent walk to the slope but honestly it wasn’t bad. Our group made the walk 2 of the 3 days. It was a cozy place and very enjoyable. Saturday’s are packed on the slopes but sundays were great both day and night time skiing. ”

“Place was good but needed a deep clean, and new sponge and steel scrubber per visit.”

“Location is great for everything Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk have to offer. The unit is gorgeous and well appointed. Matched pictures and descriptions. Our teens loved the game room of course after a day out and about. I was very impressed with the amenities in the room. If we needed it, it was probably there. And finally, Brad was a conscientious and extremely hospitable host. Communication was clear. He checked in on us and offered assistance should we need any. Highly recommend this……

“The best thing that I can say about this property is that owners apparently did some DIY improvements. The photos online are enticing but not exactly accurate. Hemlock Nob condominiums are average, old, and has an HOA which Vacasa would not give us any contact info to take care of outside problems or emergencies. We arrived about 4:30pm on our check-in date and found 6 inches to 1 foot of snow and ice on the 12 steps and front deck leading to the outside entrance door (which had 4 inch……

“We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully maintained condo. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious, and kitchen was nicely stocked. Very quiet too!”

“Checked all the basic boxes. Has not been updated but is well maintained and clean. Only “complaints” we had are that the shower heads REALLY need to be replaced and there is no Keurig coffee maker. We’ve stayed in more updated properties at Sugartop but this one met our needs. ”

“Gas fireplace didn’t work upon arrival took over 24 hours and 4 follow up phone calls before someone came to property. There was no clear indication pointed out where the pool or trash dumpster were located. Also, they should inform you it is quite a hike to the pool, and you need to bring your own towels, no towels provided at the community pool. Heater pool felt like a cold bath, and the gym was a little cluttered with machinery non operational. ”
