The location is great right on the cape fear River looking right at the USA North Carolina battleship on one side and the historic Wilmington skyline on the other. Parking garage is a bit of a walk like a couple blocks but is free considering parking in the downtown is 8.00/hr this is well worth it. “Thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The view was amazing. Comfortable for the two of us. Kitchen was great and well equipped which I was not expecting. Furniture is great condition. Bed was great. I have a bad back and no issues with sleeping. Everything was clean when we arrived. Love the fireplace as it was a cold/blustery weekend - winds howling. Skiing convenient even though my husband didn't get to go as he got sick the one day the weather was good to go. Definitely would love to come……

“Parking was further than anticipated, the room key pad was confusing and locked us out immediately and we had to use the key on the table, luckily security was able to unlock our door for us so we could get ready and make it to our event on time. There was some damage to the bathroom cabinet towards the bottom when we arrived and stains on the bedroom carpet, clean other than that. Beautiful views, felt very secure, and in walking distance from everything we needed. ”

“Overall pretty good. There was one bed, and two tiny pads that made up a bunk bed in the hallway. The top one was impossible to get to, though. The couch is a recliner, not a sleeper, however when fully reclined it was really comfy. As it was winter time, it was really cold in the hallway that had the bunks, so we opted to sleep on the couch. Overall, it did the job.”

“We enjoyed our stay and the location was convenient to Sugar Ski Resort. Roundhouse was clean and spacious for me, two teenagers and 11 year old. However, VRBO had already taken my money and now it is a week later and I have still not been reimbursed.Not only did it leave me and my out-of-town guests in a lurch two days before NYE, but we are also having to fight to get our money refunded with no help or communication from the owner.I DO NOT recommend this property!!!!”

This unit is very well presented and the kitchen has everything you could want for a great stay. The location is perfect for the grocery store, local restaurants, and more.
