“It was very nice experience, the place was very clean, very private and lots of restaurants close. They provided everything that was needed in the house. It was Amazing!”

“We had a wonderful “getaway” long weekend here. The carriage house is perfect for a couple. The bed was super comfortable for me ( my husband thought it was a bit firm for his liking, but he prefers a soft mattress). The amenities were perfect. I wanted to try to smuggle the bedroom armchair home, it was so beautiful, but I think Hunter might notice, lol! The location was perfect, right across the street from Edenton Bay. If you get the chance, take Captain Mark’s boat ride for more historical……

“Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!”

“This is perfect for a couple seeking quiet, cozy comfort. Walkable to downtown and your nightcap to go is across the street at the distillery. Close drive to the beach but the advantage over oceanfront is being able to walk to good eats and bars. Try Firetender, great service pizza and smash burgers. This location feels less touristy than points north in obx and we will stay again ”

Close to Camp Lejeune, which made it perfect for us while visiting family. Would absolutely recommend to others, and will stay here again if we visit the area again.”

“Phyllis is a delightful host who thinks of everything. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from ECU. The back patio was the perfect place to host a family cookout and Phyllis was fine with that. The patio has a grill, games, plenty of seating and the backdrop of beautiful flowers everywhere! The attention to detail is remarkable. 2 couples stayed in the house comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked. We walked to downtown and loved downtown! Beautiful restaurants and bars along……

“First of all, thank you Ginga! Your place was elegantly designed and a super comfortable base for our weekend. Every last detail considered, from labels on the light switches to a thorough welcome book with a digital version. We couldn’t afford lodging on Bald Head island and “settled” for Southport. Turns out, it was the right choice! We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to friends. All in all a “fair dinkum” stay!”
