“The place is practically new, inside and out. The kitchen is well furnished with all the cookwear, pots and pans, dishes and silverware anyone could possibly want or need, Parking is available for a truck and a boat, in fact there’s room for two such rigs in the driveway. Kevin is a gracious host and was over quickly to help get the TV working (we’re technically challenged). We’ll be back!!”

“We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is……

“We stayed 4 nights with friends visiting from Belgium. Great location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The views were wonderful especially from the rooftop deck above the boathouse. In spite of the weather we had a great time. A few more kitchen towels were needed. The drains in both showers were very slow! It would be nice to have a dresser in each bedroom.”

“We stayed a week and loved everything about the Hosts and cabin. Very clean and very accommodating . If you forgot to bring it, Dawn probably already has is there for you. Water, snacks, coffee, storage bags, you name it. They check in to make sure everything is ok, even give you places to try fishing. They truly are the best hosts we have ever had. I highly recommend a stay at their cabin. Water access is just a few steps away. ”

“Lovely new cottage tucked away in a quiet bay. You will need to have a boat or rent one to get there. The bay is shallow so communicate with the owner first if you have a larger boat. The property was super clean and very welcoming. There is a marina 5 minutes from the cottage that you can rent a pontoon boat from and you are only a few minutes from town. Definitely a place we would go again. ”

“Wonderful cottage, with a spectacular view, located minutes from Cedar Pointe State Park and short drive to downtown Clayton. The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely decorated and remodeled with thoughtful amenities including onsite laundry and an exceptionally well stocked pantry for guests to use. The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum. “Cute little cabin that had a lot of amenities available. Local grocery is only a few minutes away. Problems: beds are hard, the main „queen“ bed is two twins pushed together but the seam isn‘t connected so we kept falling through the middle and it was too small. ‚Would’ve chosen something else had I known. Fan in living room didn‘t work, someone removed the chain and still couldn‘t get it to turn on. Very hot during the summer. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking, be sure to check……
