“ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. Our hosts were great communicating information prior to arriving. If we come back to that area we will definitely check availability for this. Thanks again for a……

“This property is clean, cute and cozy! Although it may appear tight it most definitely is not! We had 2 adults and 3 young adults with and we were just fine! Our may purpose for this trip was to be on the water as much as possible. This property worked perfectly for us! A huge plus is the dock available for you to keep your boat in your whole trip. We felt very safe leaving it down at the dock!! Larry and Sue were so nice and really make you feel right at home!! ”

“The renovated Barn was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The views of the river were gorgeous it is in a central location very quiet. The extra shed was nice to spend time in because one of my sons is allergic to mosquitoes . We also had an amazing adventure on the river. We rescued a barn owl that was stuck in fishing line hanging from a tree. So amazing. We would stay here in a heartbeat again.”

“This lovely cottage is all that was promised. We were looking for a quiet place to get away for a few nights and we were not disappointed. Beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, we really enjoyed just relaxing, reading and reconnecting. The fire pit was a nice addition to be able to star-gaze by. We’ve stayed all over the world and this may be the cleanest home we’re rented. Bed and linens were top notch and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Highly recommended.”

“House had everything we could ask for and some nice extras, the snacks in basket and coffee selection is a great touch. Game room is great. Shuffleboard could use some balancing. Highly recommend this house if you are just looking for a place to get away. Little bit of a hike to get to the dells. (close to 40 min) Host was great and answered any questions I had. House does a slight view of the lake and even though its in "town" still had deer walk through the yard. Great place to……

“Everything was clean and nicely done. We enjoyed the use of the cabin and its amenities. One morning we accidently locked ourselves out and we called Marrah to help us get into the house and she did a great job helping us and we were able to get back in with her help. We loved our stay and would come back.”
