“Great cottage for a weekend girls trip! The view was beautiful and the beach was literally 3 steps off the deck. The cottage could use a little updating but it was the perfect size for 3 of us.”

“Before booking, we were unsure because we typically stay right on the lake. We weren't sure how much the daily commute to the beach and back would bother us but it was easy peasy with the golf cart! I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered us even without the golf cart because they do have a nice scenic trail through the woods to get there where we saw deer and turkeys. Jeannette was very helpful prior to booking and accomodating. We didn't have to reach out to her during our stay because everything……

“The home is well cared for, clean, and well stocked. This would be an excellent place for a single person, a couple or two couples. If you are traveling with children, the home has things for the children to do. It is located in a private location but is close to everything South Haven has to offer. If you need addition space the owners also have another place to stay on the premises. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Marc, the owner made sure our stay was everything we hoped for.”

“ Charming little house was in a perfect location. Check in was easy and house was very clean. Easy short walk to downtown St. Joseph, restaurants and shopping. Golf course was short drive. The owner, Cindy, was very helpful with suggestions for dining and events. There a fire house right next door and a church behind the house, so sleeping was a challenge at times since the church chimes ring EVERY hour all night long! Thank goodness there werent any sirens at night from the fire station too! ”

“This property is wonderful! Home was incredibly clean, decorated beautiful, had plenty of supplies for our weekend, was cozy and the hot tub was very relaxing. Absolutely no complaints about our trip! Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again!”

“We stayed 4 nights in mid-December. The house was located near family that we were visiting. The house is charming with lots of train theme and antique décor. There was even a small Christmas tree and some holiday decorations. The master bed was very comfortable. There was a back yard that my small dog could use off leash once I figured out how to get the gate open. The home has a short driveway which was too small for our full size pickup truck, we unfortunately had to park in the road and……

“This was the perfect time of year to come stay! We had great, cool weather. The walk down the beach was quick and easy. We played in the backyard and drove into town. It takes about 45-60 minutes to get to Grand Rapids and 30 minutes up to Holland to see the tulips. Overall a great stay and a comfortable home to sleep and spend time.”

“The cottage is well maintained, clean and inviting. The private beach on Lake Michigan is beautiful with a nice walk through a forest to reach it. We really enjoyed walking along the lakeshore on the private beach and easy access to South Haven.”

“We had a lovely time. The home was very clean. The master bath was impressive! Cleaning people need to get under beds better, and when I stripped my bed before we left, I found a small vial of eye drops in the bedding. Wondered how it got there, since it wasn't mine....looked like a prescription. Plenty of dishes and silverware. They even had things in the refrigerator we could have used it we needed them. We enjoyed our stay.”
