“The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice ”

“My stay at Destino Hotel was an absolute dream. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire design of the property was gorgeous. It truly felt like paradise. Orlando was the best host, so warm and accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and a highlight of the experience. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back! ”

“What a great stay for exploring around Liberia! Amazing hosts we would love to see again some day. Eladio gave us a great wildlife tour, definitely recommend taking one! Kids and parents enjoyed the huge pool. Though technically shared with the other rental on site you wouldn’t know it. Surrounded by trees, flowers, and colorful birds with iguanas hanging out at the pool with us was perfect and a great welcome to Costa Rica. Pura vida!”

“The villa is just as described and the location is cool. We spent days exploring the area, late afternoons cooling off in the pool and evenings watching the sunset. The walk down to the river is easy and we spent an afternoon hanging out there and swimming in the water. As others have said, there is still a lot of construction happening on the property and when complete the place will be fantastic. For now, there are no other amenities like a restaurant or spa on site but they are building……
