“This property is amazing!! The scenery is like no other. We seen deer through the whole time we where here. These cuties are everywhere so be careful driving. The house has so much to offer. From all the room downstairs that leads out to the deck over looking the lake. We lucked out during our September trip with 90 degrees which lead us to do some floating on the lake and also kayaking. There are 2 on the property. I can't say enough about the wonderful time our getaway was. The hosts are also……

“Clean, quiet cabin. Several cabins fairly close by on the property. A thicket of trees separates the property from a golf course and it is a couple of blocks from a highway, so not exactly secluded. That isn't necessarily a negative. I felt safe there and it was easy to find with the directions from the host It was a quiet environment and very pleasant to sit out on the deck which was shaded by a tree at Cabin 2. Unlike some of the other cabins, mine had only two steps up to the deck, so……

It was a convenient location for some guests who’d never visited the lake, lots of easy parking, the setup indoors was exactly as described, and we had a gorgeous weekend on the water swimming and using the kayaks. Having coffee on the deck looking out at the view was my personal favorite. The hospitality of Jeff and Heather is unsurpassed! ”

“We had such a wonderful stay. It was the most peaceful, perfect get away. We went to wineries, hiked, and swam in Cedar Lake! The cabin was in the perfect location so we were close to everything!! ”

“My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin.……
