Visit Allensford Country Park for walking and cycling trails and spend a day at the fantastic Beamish Museum (10.5 miles) for an unforgettable journey into the past. Head to Stanhope in the nearby Durham Dales (13.5 miles), a superb place for outdoor activities, and spend a day in Durham (15 miles) for the magnificent cathedral, river walks, shops, bars, and restaurants. Newcastle and the Metrocentre are both also within 15 miles.
This inviting former stable has been beautifully transformed into a tranquil haven for couples looking for quality and comfort. Step through the stable-style front door into the bright, airy, open-plan living space with high ceilings and original exposed beams. There are two comfortable sofas to relax on after your days out walking, cycling, and exploring this wonderful area; and there is a TV with the full Sky package providing entertainment for cosy nights in.
