“We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. It was a nice balance of rustic, cozy charm for an 1800s farmhouse with the right touch of modern amenities. We got to explore the property a little bit, getting to see the horses, cows, and pigs. I accidentally rented an entire house with privacy and had it all to ourselves with our dog but the accident was I booked the wrong week, it was the week prior to what I needed and lost all my rental fees. “We were in town for our daughter's wedding. The space was perfect for us to get ready and the picturesque landscape was amazing for pictures. The unit was well stocked with towels, toiletries, kitchen equipment etc. I would highly recommend this space and if ever in the area again I would absolutely rent this unit. So much better than a hotel!”

“Booked for a relaxing hangout weekend. The location, both farmhouse itself and the general property, were amazing. It's a great, quiet spot to spend some time, or to make the homebase for a longer vacation. The space was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The hosts were accommodating, and we were able to have a nice bonfire and make smores. Seeing and interacting with the farm animals was also a fun bonus to the stay,”
