“What an Amazing Place!!! We stayed in the "Treehouse Cottage" it was such a cool spot up in the pine trees! We felt like we were out in the woods all by ourselves yet only a 2 minute walk to the river/beach. The fire pit and grill are located perfectly so you can grill while have a nice fire going. The cottage was very bright peaceful, I really loved the knotty Pine. We also had great views of the Franklin dam from the balcony. Cant wait to come back again, relax enjoy nature and hopefully catch……

“Great spot! House is fantastic, they did a really nice job with the remodeling and renovating. We loved the deck as well—gets a good amount of sun and is a good hangout spot. The yard is huge for games like frisbee and tossing a football. Only demerit is the dock—for one, it needs some redoing because it's falling apart. And two, it's not really set up to walk directly into the water because of lily pads and debris/rocks. But the community beach is within walking distance, so still not too……

“The acorn in a cute little cottage on beautiful Mountain View lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations for area hikes and activities. ”

“Very comfortable and bright waterfront cottage with vintage charm. We are thankful to hosts, Karen & John for sharing their lovely property with us. Communication was easy and never needed to contact them for anything during our stay as they provide everything you could need and more! Very easy in and out for our pontoon with their on site boat ramp and dock space. We'll be back!”

“The house was better than expected. You can tell the owners take pride in their property and provided everything needed and more. Ellen and Pat were very friendly and available but not at all intrusive. It was far enough away but close to everything as well-a true retreat. The water was warm and clean with a sandy bottom and the beach area was well maintained. Would definately go back!”

“I would highly recommend the Lakefront House on Pleasant Bay. It was perfect for my wife and myself and our Golden doodle. Its bed was very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck or down on its dock. I was worried that there wasn't a beach. But there is a lovely beach just down the street at the boat ramp. Where they have "Lake hosts" checking boats for foreign weeds that and lovely to talk to. We were informed that its water is the 2nd cleanest is all NH lakes. Indeed. Favorite……

“Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described. The pond was clean sandy and perfect for swimming with our dogs. The location was quiet ane peaceful and the host was responsive and welcoming. We'd definetly come back. ”

“My husband and I stayed here for the week over July 4th. Our kids (early 20s) joined us for a couple of days. The cottage was by far the cleanest (and I'm picky!) and most well stocked cottage we have ever rented. It was so nice not to have bring bedding, bath towels, beach towels, etc. There was even coffee waiting for us! The space worked very well for us and my husband was happy to make use of the little office for a work call. Fireworks viewing was perfect on the screened porch. Everyone……
