“Excellent relaxed stay. Friendly welcome and pick up. Fabulous food, location, snorkeling, kayaking all in one place. Housekeeping, not so good- pot luck if the room is serviced! But overall wonderful- could have stayed longer!”

“I loved that we each had our own pool and outdoor area to sit although some of our outdoor pergolas were very low and difficult to stand and sit under. Asenna and the bar/dining staff were so friendly as were the cleaning staff and maintenance team. Beautiful sunsets, cheap cocktails, super friendly staff, cute kitty cats and dogs, great food and the nightly turn down service made for an exceptional holiday. We’ll be back!”

“Paul & his team are amazing hosts. The Black Pearl is a lovely place to stay without the hustle and bustle of a big complex. Everything is available from a washing machine, BBQ & reef shoes. The beach is a 30 second walk accross the road and there is a restaurant and garage right next door for any snacks or drinks if needed. Paul can provide great recommendations for restaurants and car hire! Thank you so much for making our first trip to Raro truly on to remember!!”

“The property is beautiful. Owners were very friendly. Cleaning was excellent. Definitely needs new mattress. The room I stay when we sleep we both roll in middle as Mattress was loose. Wake up every morning with bad back. I book room for 5 days so I expected at least the tea coffee enough for five days for two of us. Was enough for two days . Owner was very generous and he even left a loaf of bread for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment and if I make another trip than will return to……

“Everyone is lovely and accommodating. Our flight arrived well before check in time and they made sure our room was cleaned first so we could rest. The linked bar shipwreck has the best service and cocktails we found. ”

“Pros: Great location, lovely beach access, friendly staff. Cons: Very noisy, you can hear footsteps constantly if you are not on the top floor. Made sleeping very difficult. Breakfast buffet is very limited. Pros outweigh the cons however. ”
