“Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. It was well worth the trade……

“I had pleasure of staying at Alysia and Russel’s beautiful and luxurious converted space above the garage surrounded by nature. The space was immaculate and had everything I needed for my three day stay. I came for a weekend workshop at the very nearby Omega Institute. It was very peaceful surrounded by trees and great views and light filled the place. My favorite thing was the deck. The bed was also very comfortable. “Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats.……

“My daughter & I came up from NYC for a family get-together and the cottage was perfectly located -- & sized -- for us. Loved it! Cozy and warm even though it was single digit cold the whole time. Really appreciated the comfy beds, the fire stove and the holiday decorations. Had hoped to make a fire in the fire ring out back... but it was just TOO COLD. Lots of things to do, restaurants & shops in the area -- next time in better weather!”

“We were lucky enough to find the Cottage right before July 4. Our son and his wife's whole extended family were spending the weekend in the same Beachwood neighborhood. The immediate area is fabulous for a low-key, family-oriented weekend. The cottage has been updated with room airconditioners and heat, a cooktop, fridge, etc. That said, it's a cottage and not a hotel. Although we did do a bit of cooking there, it would be hard to cook a full meal with any frequency. Still, we really had……
