“I want to start off this review by saying I have stayed in MANY rentals and this home surpasses them all. Check in was an absolute breeze, the home was warm and inviting, and looked exactly as it did in the pictures (if not better!). The welcome tray of goodies and a gift was beyond my expectations. A binder left next to the tray was full of information for the stay. (I went to MoMo’s and it was incredible!) Even the shower was perfection. Communication with the owner could not have been more on……

“Me and my 3 dogs stayed and had an amazing time. The location is great for excursions into the park to hike or drive around as well as easy access into Bar Harbor. The only difference between the online listing and the cabin was the carpet appears to be recently replaced with laminate flooring that made it even easier to clean up after the dogs. If you want a spa like experience, keep looking, but if you are serious about getting into and out of the park to explore with a clean, safe and dog……

“This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. ”

“10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. The property manager has excellent communication and was so kind to mail my daughter’s clothing back to us! The property is everything you would ever want and need for an isolated cabin on a lake.
