“This was a great cabin, beautiful views and overall fun experience with the kids. The loft area is a little small for four of us so we ended up sleeping two in the loft and two on the main floor. Prepare yourselves for the mosquitoes! I wish we had more time to kayak, but we did have s'mores at the fire pit and cooked our own lobsters. ”

“Good place to rest your head with parking (a luxury in Bar Harbor). Made two separate reservations because decided to add a night. No issues whatsoever. Lots of amenities-provided everything you need! Kitchen a plus. Good amount of space. ”

“This was a terrific stay and the host Ashley was fantastic! She responded quickly to my questions and was helpful with a couple of minor issues that came up. Quick to help solve the issues. She kept in great communication with the check in and check out and getting the indoor fireplace working. The property is stunning and so much fun to have those memories of our trip to Maine. There is plenty of room and storage for my family of 4, including 2 younger children. The kitchen is well……

“Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“Just an incredibly beautiful property and perfect little place for my spouse and two teens. Brought my kayak and paddled every day. My family and I hiked, picked blueberries and went whale watching. From the house we saw bald eagles, osprey, terns and all kinds of other birds in the air — plus seals and porpoises in the water. The fire pit was a great way to end each day. ”

“Has the essentials you need and more to enjoy your stay; location cannot be topped”

“The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden……

“Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. ”
