It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight. The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. Best breakfast I’ve experienced, and I travel a lot! Parking was a little tight, but expected. Best to catch the train in to Santa Margherita & rent a moped & use the ferry to Portofino (15 min each way).”
