“Once upon a time, there were 3 girls who met when they were 11 years old. They all lived on the same street in Columbia, TN. They all grew up and moved away, but they have remained friends (and held a fondness for Columbia) for 60 years! This weekend, they returned to Columbia to celebrate Easter with other friends and relatives. Lucky for these 3 girls they rented the Maple Roost - a most charming home, in a perfect location, and it was equipped with every convenience anyone could want. ……

“The place far exceeded any rental we've ever had. They are easy to communicate with from the start and respond promptly with any questions. They thought of everything and provided it so there is 0 stress! Although we didn't get to use the fire pit as we got in later and only stayed 1 night, it was a very nice touch to the already beautiful cabin. We will definitely recommend to family and friends. “We wanted a place to stay that was central to Nashville and Pelham (where the Caverns are) to fulfill biking in the Nashville area and a concert in the Caverns in Pelham. Great small city feel with some.amazing places to eat. Recommend the Bourbon Gospel and the Southern Tre Steakhouse. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood and the private access and no shared amenities was very nice. Not the most comfortable couch if you want to just chill for part of your vacation like we did.”

“The "house" is more like a large extended trailor home. We found mouse droppings in a few places when we arrived, but they appeared to be old - not recent. Otherwise it was clean. Blythe was away but her husband, Jerry, was fantastic and a font of information about good clean living. We enjoyed talking with him. He also let us into the field to pet and feed apples to their four lovely horses. The 150/night fee was reasonable, but the 300 cleaning fee seemed high given our initial……

“Perfect privacy in a remote setting. Loved the atmosphere. The hot tub was fantastic and I actually take enjoyed the lack of the television. Wonderful retreat”

“The Cardinals Nest was a great place to stay for our group of 9. Plenty of beds to choose from and lots of space to move around. We enjoyed all of the amenities. The movie theater was awesome. The recliners in the theater were so comfortable and recline with the push of a button. We saw deer every morning of our stay except for the morning we had thunderstorms. I would stay again. Thanks for the memories.”

“Finding such a nice cabin home rental that had a hot tub made us so happy! It was only about an hour away, and while there were a few backroads, the property was ecxellent! The newly built cabin had all the amenities we wanted, with the covered porch with hot tub, nice spacious grounds with chairs & firepit, a swing and grill. (plus some fun games inside!) Abby was a marvelous host as well. My wife & I plan to visit again soon!!”
