“Once upon a time, there were 3 girls who met when they were 11 years old. They all lived on the same street in Columbia, TN. They all grew up and moved away, but they have remained friends (and held a fondness for Columbia) for 60 years! This weekend, they returned to Columbia to celebrate Easter with other friends and relatives. Lucky for these 3 girls they rented the Maple Roost - a most charming home, in a perfect location, and it was equipped with every convenience anyone could want. ……

“The property was very clean with a very nice selection of kitchen options. The only thing was in the pictures of bedding options didn’t match up to what was available in the house ”

“The owners were easy to get ahold of from the booking process all the way through our month long stay. We found the house clean and the main bed was very comfortable. We did not use the other one so I can’t comment. It is very close to the square which is nice but it was also very close to our daughter who was having a baby. There were a few hiccups along the way but they were very responsive and desirous to fix the concerns. Overall I would say this would be a good place for a short or longer……

“The "house" is more like a large extended trailor home. We found mouse droppings in a few places when we arrived, but they appeared to be old - not recent. Otherwise it was clean. Blythe was away but her husband, Jerry, was fantastic and a font of information about good clean living. We enjoyed talking with him. He also let us into the field to pet and feed apples to their four lovely horses. The 150/night fee was reasonable, but the 300 cleaning fee seemed high given our initial……
