“We had 8 adults and 3 young kids staying together and the house was wonderful. Every staff member was accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were perfect and quiet. We especially loved the canoes and kayaks and being close to Purity Pond. We want to come back again and stay longer to experience the other amenities (the pool and hot tub!)”

“We absolutely loved this unique little Inn! The instructions for getting inside and finding the room made us feel like we are on a fun quest. It was a bit challenging to bring heavy suitcases up the stairs so be prepared. I wish breakfast had a few simple options and not just pancakes. ”

“We were in Maine for a wedding and events surrounding it. We used the Purple House as a base and jumping-off point for events in Portland, Scarborough, and Freeport. Very convenient to all of those places. When we were at the house, we found it peaceful and cozy. Great communication from the property owner. ”
