Too snowy and icy to get outdoors or explore much but local village has shops and kitchen was stocked with pantry staples and bottled water, milk/creamers for coffee so arrival day grocery run was not needed. “The house was clean and nicely decorated. Had lots of things to do inside and out. Was slightly disappointed that the lake wasn’t closer. when looking on the pictures we didn’t notice that there was a main street between the house and the lake. It wasn’t easy for for some of the guests who get down the steep hill from the house to the street and then another sleep hill to the lake. As long as you know that going into the rental, you’ll be fine. ”

“The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. ”

“This is a beautiful mid century modern house! The windows in the main room are huge and really fill the room with light, and the couch is large and comfortable. The whole space was very clean, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and the office provided a nice private place to take a zoom meeting or two. Comfortable beds, a pretty three season porch, and it was a perfect relaxing retreat for two teachers looking for peace and quiet on their spring break.”
