“beautiful and comfortable property. very well appointed with supplies, condiments and water. Thank you. The major detractor was the spa/pool management. We followed the instructions on the video but could not get the spa to heat up. the owner heated it remotely but the jets went off and we could not get them back on- we used the features button on the app - but nothing. we couldn't figure out how to get the outside lights on, pool or spa. once we were all done after 10 pm, the outside……

“This property was perfect for our weekend trip to Monterey for an extended family reunion. It was close to our family gatherings and to the activities planned in Monterey. “The house is adorable and extremely comfortable. Both my husband and I were obsessed with the bed and the amazing wrap around porch. Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. ”

“We spent two nights here with our children, ages 5 and 2.5, and it was the ideal vacation home for our family. Our host was warm, accommodating, and quick to reply to any questions. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully suited for kids. Everything we needed was provided, including a wonderful selection of toys and books in the kids’ room. We would absolutely love to return for another stay in the future.”
