“What a pleasant home on a beautiful property in a great location for hiking and exploring ancient ruins! Two ruins are on the property and reachable with a little determination. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch listening to and watching all kinds of birds, protected from the sun by its deep roof. Everything needed for daily life is provided in the house - just bring your groceries. Cell reception is spotty (if you consider that a problem instead of a benefit!), but the wifi works well enough……

“We stayed for our daughter’s wedding also in Cortez. We had family members and our dogs stay. It was a great setup for all and the game room kept the little ones entertained! Beautiful view! We are from California so may not be back for a while but would absolutely stay there again!!”

“We enjoyed the property location. Close to all amenities. Beds comfortable, nice kitchen area, and loved the gas grill. The fenced-in yard was perfect for the pets and the patio seating was great. Nice towels! If you cook much while staying here, you may want to bring your own spices. We brought our own paper towels, and definitely needed them. We were a little concerned about the livingroom furniture as the sturdiness was questionable. Overall, we were very happy and will return if……
