“This place is exactly as advertised. Super clean and well maintained with plenty to do for the family. We stayed while it was still cold out, but my kids (8 & 7) had a great time in the game room and movie room.”

This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). “pros: Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware, everything you could possibly need. The rooms were comfortable and good sizes. Game room in basement was fun.Hosts very responsive.Cons: it could have been cleaner, but hosts will talk to supposedly new cleaners.The only bathroom on the main floor is in one of the bedrooms so you have to go upstairs unless the people in that bedroom don't care about everyone using their bathroom. There was a bad smell in that bathroom, but hosts……

“This was home base for a Thanksgiving with family. The house is absolutely spotless, with comfortable modern rooms and lots of space to spread out. The house is set back from the road with a secluded backyard with a deck and a fenced in area, you’d never know the grocery store and mall are 5 minutes away, and downtown Ithaca is a short drive. The kitchen was well stocked, and communication with Laurie the owner was excellent. ”

“Very clean and comfortable house. Our family did not feel like we were staying in a rental property. The lake is located in a picturesque valley. The location is convenient to dining and shopping in Skaneateles. The house is located at the southern portion of Lake Otisco. This part of the lake has a mud bottom which does make the water very murky. The host is very accommodating. ”
