“Place was slightly dated but rooms were clean, no bugs, A/C worked well (which was a key factor since it was 95 all weekend). Beds and pillows were very comfy which is always a plus and not always a guarantee at hotels. Free breakfast was lackluster but not a deal breaker for me. Also I’ve noticed some others comments regarding the area seeming sketch, but my parents had a cottage nearby and so I spent 45 years of entire summers in the area and can tell you that it’s a safe area, it’s just that……

“The property was really nice. 9 out of 10 I'd recommend it. The owner lives next door and was incredibly nice and helpful (especially when no uber would show up by checkout). Kayaking on the lake behind the property was an incredible experience. My wife and I kept hearing strange noises at night (like a door was swinging open, but there wasnt). Other than that, no complaints. ”

“When we first arrived we noticed there was a leak under the kitchen sink. No only did Mike himself show up to help, but they hired a plumber to get it fixed up and even gave us a small refund as an apology. They truly cared about making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great location, adorable little home. And our 4 year old loved the fenced in back yard and just looking out the living room windows all day. Great stay, and highly recommend for anyone!”

“We came from central lower michigan and stayed the night. Uopn arrival i noticed how quiet it was there. Webt in and registered then to check the room. Suitws are definitely they way to go if you want to move around freely. The room was very clean and nicely situated. We did the usual inspection but found no traces of any type of bug.the beds were good but i didnt like the pillows my wife liked the bed and pillows however. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice assortment……

“This hotel was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Top notch customer service and very helpful. The ONLY Thing I want to make sure you know is to book DIRECTLY through the official hotel website. Booking through this yellow app with the arrow (cause we cant say names in the reviews) caused way too many problems and they tried to take the full amount of my bkg for themselves leaving me AND the hotel nothing to show for it including the rooms. Yellow app is full of it. If it werent for the……
