“Our 5 night stay at Villa Vista Mar with my 2 teenagers and Mum was perfect. The view is stunning day and night . The pool and fully air conditioned villa provided welcome respite from the August heat when needed and the patio furniture enabled family card games and al fresco dining in the early evening. We will definitely stay again.”

“We enjoyed our 5 night stay over the new year holiday. The accommodations were as described and very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied for home cooking. The house had not been occupied for some time before our arrival and was cold, but the mini split devices in each room were effective for heating. Working with the owner and the house manager, Emma, was very convenient and clear. If we returned to the area, we would consider staying at the property again. ”

“Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available.”

“The property is right on the Portugal/Spain border which was what we were looking for to allow trips within both countries. It is located beside a Golf Course, a short drive from Ayamonte. The house was filled with just about anything you could need for the trip and had some of the basic essentials (spices, etc..) so you did not need to buy these for your stay. We had some pretty wild weather during our week which did some damage to the fence, but they came and temporarily repaired it right away……

We have been to this area many times and this is one of the few unspoilt villas, the pool was great and still warm, the views were great, Love the big outdoor dining area, it is about 20mins walk to the castle area restaurants and 30min to duquesa port.
