“The house was well stocked for cooking as well as use of the lake toys. It made for a very simple and relaxing week for our family. It is a busy part of the lake with the sandbar so close, which makes the water kind of rough but also a good place to watch the boaters. We even saw a plane land/take off from the water from the dock. The host was quick to respond to any questions and was very easy to work with. Being able to bring our dogs was an added bonus. “Our family had an amazing weekend at Turtle Cove! We absolutely loved having access to the paddle board and kayaks. The cove is so quiet and calm that we had it to ourselves most of the weekend. Sitting on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife come alive was very serene. I thought the safety gate/ fencing around the deck was a fantastic touch for families with smaller children.The Lake House is a bit older, but lovingly cared for. Kitchen drawers stuck a bit, but……

“The property is perfect with the refreshing pool, deck for sipping coffee, friendly horses nearby, and the surrounding natural views of Texas Hill country. The place is quiet and peaceful and yet only 7 minutes to Johnson City. The owner, Tami, is very friendly and has stocked the house better than most VRBOs with plenty of coffee, paper products, kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies, towels, pool toys, etc. We essentially didn’t need a thing and loved our week long trip. ”
