“This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. “It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. ”

“Amazing. Comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Loved the big soaker tub and shower. Heated towel racks were great. The views were fabulous. Easy access to Isle of Skye. Did a day trip to Loch Ness. Directions and instructions for arrival were great! We were challenged to operate the oven because the “labels” are faded and we don’t know the symbols (easy fix with a permanent marker). We had a 9 passenger van. “A great property with views to die for! Kay was super helpful and great and speedy with answering queries!House had everything we needed! Local shop excellent! Pub great for night off from the cooking! A wonderful time was had by all! A lovely remote getaway with amazing mountains and hills!
