This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic……

We did have the compressors outside our window and there were tents and music as they set up for a wedding, but I enjoyed the old fireplaces and wide stairs and feel of the old building. And the bed was very comfy. ”
