“This is exactly the type of property we were hoping for when we booked it. It is located in a very quiet country setting on the river front, but is still only about a fifteen minute drive to the downtown historic district of Nachitoches. There is so much to see and do, not to mention the great food choices at the local restaurants. “The house was clean and had all the amenities listed. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. The house is uniquely decorated which made our stay even more lovely. “Every year the ladies in our family pick a weekend in December to travel somewhere and see Christmas lights. This year we went to Natchitoches, LA for their Christmas Lights Festival. We stayed at A&A Lakehouse and we so happy we did! The location was perfect (close to downtown), clean, plenty of room for the seven of us and the host was so nice and very responsive. We plan on coming back for the 100 anniversary of the Christmas Festival and will MOST definitely try to book this property……

“Quite country atmosphere, Antique charm. We were there during a seasonal rain event. It was sleep in weather. We woke up to fresh coffee and sat on the front porch admiring the wild life. We saw Redheaded woodpecker, cardinals and squirrels playing in the morning rain. It was so serene.We then enjoyed mimosa's and a tasty hot pancake and sausage breakfast.
