“This is my partner and I's second summer staying at Host El's fabulous Fennville cottage. Perfect for two looking to relax and rewind, visit local farm stands (my favorite!), orchards, wineries, not to mention all the amazing restaurants and shops within a short distance from the property. This area of Michigan feels all the more charming, and like home to us with this cottage. I would recommend "El's Place" to anyone looking for a getaway!”

“Beautiful home, including the outside space! Fire pit, zip line and playground for the kids, enclosed porch. Whimsical lighting all around the outside property. Pizza, coffee, and grocery store close by. The foosball table and air hockey was the perfect way to round off the night. Beach, bike, and Dune rentals, mini golf, go karts nearby. Hosts were always available with any questions. I cannot say enough good things about this house. Book it!”

“Our family had a fantastic experience at this home. Plenty of space to accommodate daytime napping, early coffee and nighttime celebrations. Maximized use of the pool and nearby restaurants. Fenced in yard perfect for furrry family members. Baked 2 cakes in the well stocked kitchen and grilled burgers on the grill. Beds very comfortable and room AC units allowed for individual comfort. Hosts were very attentive to any needs.”

“We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well.”

“We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :) ”
