Excellent hotel. reserved 2 rooms, pleasant stay. only problem was the coffee machine (in room) was supplied with one coffee capsule. next day none. call front desk and was told room service resupplied the coffee and told they'd bring some shortly. never arrived

The Grand Park Royal Cozumel has a beautiful location and decent amenities, but some comfort and quality issues made the stay less than ideal. The bed was stiff and not restful, and the shower took about 5 minutes to heat up—when it wasn’t randomly shutting off mid-use. The room does not cool below 70 degrees and feels hot at night. The buffet is fine for a day or two, but gets repetitive quickly. Thankfully, the woman making fresh omelets and eggs to order in the morning is the real MVP—her station saved breakfast. Drinks were often served warm, and most food was lukewarm at best. The staff was friendly but not particularly warm or engaging. Also worth noting: the adult bar closes at 6 PM nightly, which feels early for a resort atmosphere. Overall, it wasn’t terrible—but it wasn’t memorable for the right reasons either.

The property had great pools, 2 of which were overlooking the beach and the third was a large pool surrounded by trees. Easy access to a private beach and the resort had daily activities, we played pool volleyball and had a great time. We stayed only 1 night so had limited experience but the food was overall decent and the service/staff was welcoming. We stayed in a room on the first floor and it was large but nothing fancy or exciting. We were offered a tour of all the renovated rooms so I do expect they have nicer rooms on the property. Our family has stayed at quite a few all inclusive resorts and this one was good for a night or two but I wouldn't want to stay there a week. Hope this helps!

We absolutely love the staff, they're the best part of the resort! The main pool was in need of some love, so much debris in the pool and it looked like it hadn't been properly skimmed/vacuumed in days. The adult pool was nice but the liquor available at times was definitely lacking. Food has always been okay, but this time it was worse. We'll still be back, but we hope that there will be some improvements made.

The Hotel was beautiful and a tropical paradise however,Communicating was inadequate with staff. All the juices at the buffet were watered down with no flavor . We had to eat off property just to eat an enjoyable meal. This property was all inclusive with great service and drinks from the bar however we left the Italian restaurant because it was so cold and the food was inedible. We scuba dived for two days which was wonderful and visited Paridise city day park on our 5th day but I believe my drink was drugged with something. My husband attended to me until we could get me back to the hotel. We would recommend Paridise city park but be careful to never leave your drink unattended.I don’t know what would have happened if the people and was such great staff and my husband never leaving my side . I only had 2 drinks and I am a nurse . This was not normal. I left my drink and went for a short swim . I finished my drink and became violently sick and did not remember anything else. Todo estuvo muy bien, el hotel es muy bonito, cuenta con variedad de piscinas y restaurantes, aunque si es importante considerar hacer reservaciones en el de su interés, principalmente que el hotel haga mención de ello; el personal es atento y amable. Por otro lado la única inconformidad es que no hicieron valer mis beneficios como VIP Access, lo cual hubiera elevado la experiencia.

I liked the night shows, and shopping areas around premises. I didn't like the food. It was cold, sometimes undercook and not a lot to choose from. Timeshare representatives were annoying. We had to run in and out of lobby area because they come after us. We had stayed at Royal many times before and didn't have this poor experience.we will not be returning to this hotel again. I should had pay attention to the bad reviews.

The food wasn’t the best at this resort. So we left several times to walk downtown to eat and drink. This was our only complaint.

The property was clean and well staffed. Staff was friendly but check in a check out staff were not as much. Check in was a bit longer than expected and perks were not really explained or mentioned. I was charged a fee upon checking out as they stated someone had vomited in the room and bed cover and towels were dirty, which was not the case. My daughter accidentally spilled some of the nachos they were eating and being that there were no paper towels they took a small towel to wipe it off the bed, as I was not in the room with them at the time. I had no energy or intention to argue, my daughter also ended up getting food poisoning. Food is also not great. Had a couple of times were there were chunks of ice on the food, selection was not great, buffet had a few more choices but food was never hot, only slightly warm. Dinning at the restaurants was also not great, portions were ridiculously small and small selection. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and got a plate with 3 rings of calamari. Cafe has decent coffee but nothing else. The juices are not natural and have tons of sugar.

Second time here. This is a great family resort with a nice place to snorkel right at the beach. The food had improved a little since our last visit. The pools with 2 swim up bars are a bonus. Walking around a little difficult with the uneven floors but despite that I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff works hard to please you but the food is average at best and the wait lines to eat get rather long. The sports bar is more like a soccer bar with no atmosphere and no other options to watch any other sports, We wanted to watch an NBA game and had to go offsite. Shout out to Luis in the Bikini Bar and Jorge in the lobby for there hard work and making the stay more enjoyable
