“Loved the included excursions and the overall beauty and vibe of both the Explorean and Fiesta Americana. Unfortunately,the two best restaurants with views are closed right now- and no one told us. It was a big disappointment because many of the restaurant options are without AC and the ambiance was severely lacking. ”

“The staff was super accommodating and very courteous. The food wasnt as good as it was 10 years ago when we stayed there. However you could always get fresh tacos, quesadillas, nachos, omelettes, bacon and pizza. We love the beach access and snorkeling off of the pier. The hotel just needs some TLC and upgrades. We met a couple who stays there for 2 months out of the year and said the owner is in the process of makong upgrades. We wpupd stay there again becaise of the staff”

Llegamos al aeropuerto, salimos y al cruzar la calle está el hotel; al entrar Don Daniel fue muy amable al recibirnos y nos asignaron una habitación al instante. La habitación con una cama extragrande y super cómoda, contaba con frigobar, horno de microondas y demás electrodomésticos. El baño con agua caliente. “The El Cid was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. It has an on site dive shop. You can snorkel or dive at their beach. There is daily entertainment. The buffet offers many choices or order from their menu. I do not recommend purchasing a shared taxi as part of your travel package. There are plenty of taxi's at the airport and hotel that are easy to get for $20.”
